Both FireWall™ 17 WP (streptomycin) and FireLine™ 17 WP (oxytetracycline) are approved for use against Fire Blight in organic apples and pears. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) and the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) approves substances and ingredients for use in organic farming operations. The active ingredients in FireWall and FireLine are approved by the NOP for the control of Fire Blight in organically grown apples and pears.

In addition, the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) Organic Food Program creates a Brand Name Materials List showing commercial products approved for use in organic farming. FireWall has been evaluated and approved by the WSDA for use to control Fire Blight in organically grown apples and pears.
